Amsterdam is well known around the globe for it relaxed laws on drugs and sex. A lot of people go there for that reason, but what other are the other things to do in Amsterdam? Amsterdam was the greatest planned city in Northern Europe and it has been well known around the world ever since. It has played a key role in the history of The Netherlands. In the 17th century it was the centre of the world’s economy, but now is more known for being able to smoke dope and its famous red light district. Things to do in Amsterdam now: Both Van Gogh and The Rijks have famous museums dedicated to them in the Museumplein. Haarlem is only 15 minutes away by train and has a vast amount of fashionable boutiques. Be sure to visit the gothic church of St. Bavo. There are plenty of clubs and bars around Amsterdam, for pre-party we would recommend that you head to Lux, Bitterzoet or Seymore Likely. Then head to Mazzo, Club More or Pardiso for the main attractions. But be sure to visit the land of the Dutch and make sure you live and learn the culture because it is so relaxed and you will have a fantastic time.
